Thank you so much for making our 35th wedding anniversary so special. Well Jeffery parked in that parking lot but we did not stay there! We crossed the road and he took us on a beaten path through a lava cave not a bad trek, and the surprise at the end was SPECTACULAR and we had it to OURSELVES!!! By the end of the tour What was such a blessing is Jeffery made us feel like OHANA. My favorite thing was the fact at one of our stops, all the tourists sightseeing bus loads were on one side of the road admiring the scenery. That was just the food side of the tour that he put together on the fly! EVERYTHING we saw was absolutely stunning and unexpected. He took us to great places to have a light breakfast ( Masaladas ), lunch at a local place, chocolate tasting, and Shave ice at Waiola’s. He took in our feedback about what we were interested in and wowed us! He was sooo knowledgeable and we learned so much. He text us the day before and was there on time to pick us up. First we felt blessed to have Jeffery as our guide. This was a FABULOUS tour! It was just my husband and I so unexpected private tour. Mahalo so much for a wonderful day exploring Oahu □️□□□ Read more Jeffrey was able to recommend some great lunch venues and also did a stop at Leonard’s for a breakfast stop at the beginning of the tour. We had plenty of time at each stop to take in the surroundings and take photos etc. Jeffrey is a knowledgeable, professional gentleman who is able to provide additional information throughout the tour that provided a better insight into the island and some of the history. Jeffrey’s vehicle is accessible for those with lower limb disability and he never failed to open doors on entering and exiting the vehicle. ![]() We mentioned that we had never managed to go to the Temple and Jeffrey was able to incorporate this into our tour which was very much appreciated. ( Turtle Beach, Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline/Ehukui Beach Park) and the beautiful town of Haleiwa. We had visited Oahu previously and wanted to re-visit some of our favourite places up on the North Shore. Jeffrey personalised the tour taking into account my disability and accessibility of particular places of interest. My daughter and I had a wonderful tour of the North Shore beaches and the Byodo-In Temple with Jeffrey.

He attempted to sell his comics to publication houses to little success, until his childhood hero Kurtzman printed some of Crumb’s work in satire magazine Help!. Crumb married, and began spending time with a group of young bohemians who helped him realised how dissatisfied he was with creating greeting cards. Over the next three years, everything changed. He adopted a unique style, one that could only be described as cute, though his sketches were often dismissed as “too grotesque” by his boss. He found it in Cleveland, where he drew novelty greeting cards for American Greetings. In 1962, Crumb left home with $40 in his pocket and went searching for work. If you have a mantra for this practice, chant it aloud or silently. Hold your mala in your right hand, draped between your middle and index fingers. Take a few deep breaths and set an intention. These beads are traditionally used as a tool for meditation, repeating a mantra as you touch each bead with your fingers until you complete the mala.To meditate with a mala, sit comfortably with your eyes closed. A mala is used for counting as you repeat a mantra-much like the Catholic rosary. Traditionally, mala-garlands of prayer beads-come as a string of 108 beads (plus one for the “guru bead,” around which the other 108 beads turn like the planets around the sun), notes Rae. She notes that 108 has long been considered a sacred number in Hinduism and yoga. She is a lifelong student of Tantra, Ayurveda, bhakti, hatha yoga, kalaripayat, Odissi dance, and yogic arts. The number’s significance is open to interpretation, says Shiva Rea, a leading teacher of prana vinyasa flow and yoga trance dance who teaches all over the world. The number is considered to be so auspicious that 108 is the number for emergency services in India. So what is the significance of the number 108?
